Author Instructions for SIMS 2003 papers:

• A template for the paper in LaTeX is available here.
  A template for the paper in Microsoft Word 97  is available here.
• The paper has to be written in English.
• Full authors address and contact e-mail address are necessary. WWW-page is recommended.
• Two-column format , 11pt, Times (Roman, New Times Roman) font is preferred.
• Recommended number of pages: 5-6.
• Do not use page numbers, because the proceedings will be numbered correspondingly.
• Do not use colors.
• The final paper should be sent in PDF- or in PostScript format. Remarks:
  When using LaTeX, use command "\usepackage{times,mathptm}" at the beginning, in order that postscript-fonts are used. The usual cm-fonts of LaTeX give a bad appearance on the screen when transformed to PDF (e.g. via Acrobat distiller). 
  When using Word, use a postscript printer driver and use the checkbox "output in file" to store the Word-File in postscript format. Word always uses the extension ".prn" for such files. Rename the file to ".ps".
• In the accompanying email to the paper, please add the following sentence:
  "I hereby grant the Scandinavian Simulation Society  the right to store this paper on the SIMS 2003 homepage (currently: http://www.scansims.org) before and  after the Modelica conference."
